Apart from the big popular websites you might know, here are 10 very useful websites you might not know about. You’ll wish you knew about these earlier.

These are in no particular order. Just nifty websites that can come in handy as you navigate the world wide web.

AlternativeTo is a very useful website that gives you alternatives to software for your PC, Mac and Mobile apps. All you need to do is type in the name of the Software or app and search. You’ll see a list of alternatives you could use.

10MinuteMail gives you a temporary Email address that you can use in places where you don’t feel like using your actual Email address. Some websites will need an Email address before you download something. These temporary Emails also come in handy when filling in surveys.

In the ten minute period, you can receive mail to that temporary address and verify websites and even reply.
